After the success of her critical acclaimed debut album „Why Why“ (Nov. 2020), Berlin based artist CATT explores new paths by releasing selected songs from the album in intimate, reduced and fascinating new versions. The multiinstrumentalist’s classical background and compositional finesse are blending into a very special listening experience. The instrumentation differs from vocal to brass to string versions – every song has gotten a unique new fit to let its song structure and CATT’s soothing voice shine. All songs were arranged by CATT herself. The live recording is also captured on film in the timeless 70s surrounding of the warm, golden and wooden atmosphere of Hansa Studios, where she recorded them together with Tim Tautorat and a team of musiscians. The “Why, Why (Acoustic EP)” will also be out on CD and vinyl.
