Bubblemath Perfectionists Produce Insanely Correct Masterpiece!
Hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and together with this line-up for 25 years, Bubblemath have taken full advantage of their hometown's long winter nights to rehearse and hone a singular style that's at once thrilling, enthralling, and technically demanding.
The end result is their third album, Turf Ascension, a four-song, 49-minute collection of shifting time signatures, swirling vocal harmonies, interstellar guitars and rippling keyboard flourishes, all held together by the detailed plot lines and well-considered meditations on existence of the lyrics!
". . . a fearlessness overtakes the compositions and playing across this record - unique harmonies, imaginative soundscapes and stylistic collisions that in any other hands would sound clumsy . . . but instead accentuate Bubblemath's particular genius. "
