Five years after their second album "69 Automobile" (2019), Supersonics is back with a great new album. "Bird On A Wire" contains 14 brand new original tracks, written by lead-singer / lead-guitarist PJ Snijders. It's in the same style as people gotten used to hear from the band by now. A great mixture of rockabilly, blues, country and rock 'n roll, all arranged in their own unique style and sound. Especially for this album, Haico Comans played some pedal steelguitar on 3 tracks. Also, guitarist Jeroen recorded some fitting keys on several tracks (piano, Hammond organ, Hohner pianette) to give certain songs an extra vibe. It's a thrilling ride from melodic rock 'n roll to swampy blues, stomping rockabilly to swinging country styles and some great atmospheric storytelling. So get on board with Supersonics and let this terrific new album take you away to every corner of American roots music!
