Gesangskapelle Hermann is an Austrian a cappella group that was founded in Vienna in 2008. The musicians meet for rehearsals in Vienna's Hermanngasse, which is responsible for the name of the vocal band. Their songs are often humorous and written in Austrian dialect, and their repertoire ranges from traditional folk songs to modern pieces and their own compositions. The group has established itself as a unique and entertaining representative of a cappella music in the Austrian music scene and enjoys a loyal fan base. The new album ‘Sehr Sogar’ is as colourful, gooshy, loving and cool as the vocal band itself, is sometimes hip-hop, sometimes pop or even great pop, dresses itself up shrilly, then again very modestly, is incredibly different and yet as if from a single mould.
