The album “November” by Michael Moravek from Ravensburg is a poetic piece of Americana. All 10 songs on the album were written for a stage production that Moravek performs under the title November In My Soul together with actor Bernd Wengert.
The basis and inspiration for it was Herman Melville’s great novel Moby-Dick. Moravek does not wish to assign his music to any specific genre. However, since the pieces develop an exceptionally strong visual power, he also describes them as “Songs for Films. ”
