"Good Luck", was recorded over the summer in São Paulo, Brazil. The band was able to collaborate with some of their musical idols: Nicolas Vernhes, Grammy winner for The War On Drugs’ A Deeper Understanding, sat at the mixing desk.
"Good Luck" was mastered by Greg Calbi, who has worked with artists such as The National and Arcade Fire. With intelligent arrangements and a keen sense for groove and sound, the album highlights the unstoppable development of the still young band.
In 2019, the Carnival Youth DNA remains catchy, bold, mature, and infectious. On "Good Luck", the Latvian group sounds more versatile than ever before!
